“we continued to the tower which was very much on a lean.” |
We caught the train to Pisa, left our luggage at the station and gave ourselves a couple hours to walk to the tower and get back to the station. On the way Anna, Alice and I were distracted by a large food market in a pavillion, giving free samples of the cheeses, breads, chutneys, and sweets. After filling up on those we continued to the tower which was very much on a lean. After pushing our way through the massive crowd we managed to get in some photos, buy gelati and then run back to the train station just in time to miss our train. Got on the next one and head off to Florence.
