Our flight takes us from Koh Samui on the East Coast of Thailand to Phuket on the West Coast where we will spend our next 3 days. Our hotel is across the street from Patong Beach and is a very good location. Walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants, but still at the quieter end of the beach. The beach is very busy.  Beach chairs and umberellas 6 deep for 2 or 3 kilometers. Roger and Ed enjoyed an evening of Thai Boxing, while the non-boxing fans did a little shopping. The sidewalks are so packed in the evening one can hardly move. The night life is crazy, with bars and girly shows all night long.
