After another local bus for local people, this time 7 hours through the windy highlands of Malaysia (mmm lovely!!) we arrived in Penaang, an island to the north of Malaysia. Island bit smaller than Isle of Wight, nice beaches and a very chinese holiday destinations. Stayed in a hotel which unfortunately was having major renovations on its swimming pool, hence why so cheap!!
Sat on the beach for a couple of days, got burnt as usual!
Capital Georgetown was nice, very british colonial!
Next stop Singapore...
