Wildly self-indulgent toppings cost extra

Ever wished you could make your favourite snack into a smoothie? Jammie Dodgers, for example, or maybe Ferrero Rocher? Don't worry about dusting the blender off - Shakeaway does it all for you.

Shakeaway started life in Bournemouth where I grew up, and when I discovered it had branched out across the country my joy was complete. Think of a shake - any shake - and Shakeaway has it. There must be at least 100 different flavours on their menu, made by simply putting the item of choice in a blender (I can particularly recommend the chocolate hobnob shake - mmm), adding milk and ice cream, and pressing 'frappe'.

There's nowhere to sit down (hence the name) but the premises are bright and clean and the staff are friendly. Prices might seem hefty - it's about £2.50 for a small and £3.25 for a large - but these things are a meal in themselves so you won't need lunch. And there's probably enough calories in there to keep you going the entire day.
