The Best Vacation Ever

My family always went to the Outer Banks since I can remember. I stayed in Corrolla all the way down to Southern Nags Head...although I have been in Hatteras, Avon, etc. I spent summers, weeks, breaks, and holidays at my family beach houses. I grew up in New Jersey...it was our home away from home.  It was totally awesome. Ride a bike...we had wild horses that used to walk in front of our house on Whalehead Beach. The Roanoke sound is beautiful and it doesn't matter if you stay on the sound or the ocean (except price) because they are both just so beautiful. Fishing is amazing, the beaches are great, the surf is tremendous (Kelly Slater is from there). I just call Currituck county one of my other homes...I love it there. There another great place in Duck..called the Roadhouse and it's pretty sweet. In season they have oyster shuckers, fresh tea, bands, and great beer. Kids love it...RV's is great place to bring them to see needlefish, turtles and unbelievable sunsets. Oh and a great gazebo right on the sound.
