Today we went to MGM Stuidos. The first thing we saw wasthe Indiana Jones stunt show. My favourite part was when Indiana was in the German air base and he tried to steal the aeroplane and a big german mechanic fought with him but ended up getting chopped up by the propeller. Then we went on the Star Wars ride, this was a star tour to Endor. It was really bumpy because our pilot was on his first day, thank God R2D2 was our navigator. We walked through "the streets of America". This was a lot of fun and looked real from a distance, they use all these sets in the movies. We walked through Muppet town, there was a really weird fountain in the town square. We had lunch, which was burger, shock, horror!!!! We then went on the Backlot Tour, we saw lots of props used in the real movies. We drove through the biggest prop built, which was a canyon, when the tram we were in got in, there was a earthquake, the oil tanker next to us caught fire and then the dam burst and water poured down the hill and flooded everything, we got wet too. Then we went on the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollercoaster. This was based on the fastest limo ride across Los Angeles. There was loud music playing and part of it was in the dark, upside down. It was so cool!!! We went to see the High School Musical show, Lexie got up with the cast and danced. Next, THE TOWER OF TERROR. I hated this one. You couldn't pay me enough money to make me go on it again. We walked into a spooky hotel from the Twilight Zone and got into the service elevator. This then travelled through the hotel to different floors where there were ghosts and then we started going up and there were open windows that overlooked the whole park. Then all of a sudden we just dropped in pitch black darkness. This happened about 4 times. Lexie was screaming and I feel funny in the guts just thinking about it. That's it for rides today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We hung around a took a drawing class - we all drew Mickey Mouse. Mine looked like Mickey had swallowed a kayak. By this time it was 2100 at night and the park was closing. Home to bed to recover!!!

Jacky & Lexie,You haven't mentioned whether Gary Good Dog is enjoying himself over there - he must be over there with you, because he hasn't been seen over here since you left. On the other hand, Oscar likes your bedrooms and spends most of his time in them. Can you speak American yet? What do you think of those Americans in the hospitality business - aren't they 'deep'! - "Have a nice day next please" When do you fly to UK? Luurve Oompah
