We woke up Saturday to grey skies around 10 am. We headed to Bob Evans for breakfast since it was so close to our hotel and debated on what to do that day since it looked as though it might pour down raining any minute. So we decided to play it safe and do what most folks would do when severe weather threatens-- we went to a Disney Park! Somehow we justified going to Epcot although by this time it was already almost noon and the rain could have ruined it all. But we went for it anyway and it ended up being my favorite part of the trip. And because it was so chilly and gloomy, it kept the crowds away and we had to whole park basically to ourselves. And fortunatley the rain held off until the very end, and it wasn't hard enough to ruin our fun. My favorite country in Epcot was Morrocco, where we had lunch. I also liked Mexico, as they had a really great band playing. My favorite ride was "Soaring". I felt like I was really flying. This ended up being a great treat for me to get to go to this park, because Joe has vowed never to return to Disney again and I knew this was my only chance to go and because of the price hike, I know I will never go again. This was Kate's 3rd time. Our sore feet & exhausted bodies made it back to the hotel by 10ish and we were off in dreamland soon after.
