We headed early for the Orkhon Waterfall, though we did hear that there maybe more of a trickle, we passed some stunning scenery on the way and arrived around 7pm where we camped at the rivers edge. There was luckily plenty of water from the recent rainfall and leaping fish trying to get upstream via the small waterfall. The main waterfall was good but by no means Angel falls, would be gutted if spent 2 days to specifically get here.
We left late next day and headed for Tovhonhyd Monastery with some really tough uphill/downhills of the trip where we had to walk to and from the monastery as the van wasn't able to brake with everyone inside. We didn't even know we were visiting a monastery but that's how the trip went some days. The monastery was perched on top of a rock on a hill which was a ridiculous climb by 4x4, they certainly make it hard for themselves to worship.
The most interesting part of they day was crossing the deepest river so far where Dimchig closed the engine compartment not to flood it and put in some cardboard and a coat for good measure. We spent the night in Harhorin inside a ger inside a yard in the town centre.
