The beaches in Opotiki are spectacular. I loved the deep blue color of the water (especially on a hot day) and the sand sanding my feet. After about the 100th day of going to the beach, I realised that I should live here, right in the spot I had chosen to be mine. However, there is always that erosion issue. God why does erosion have to take place in such a beautiful place?
I thought that the people would be scary but they are very friendly indeed. My best friend Patrick is sooo in love with the whole town that he has bought himself a house already.
