  Photo “swim with the dolphins”

We arrived in Ocho Rios early in the morning, and sure enough it was another beautiful day. As we are walking along the dock from the cruise ship, sure enough, we see a catamaran called "Cool Runnings". We didn't get to go for a ride on it, but we were quite happy to just get a photo.

We began our day by going to the Dunns River Falls. Wow, if you ever go to Ocho Rios, make sure you see these falls. You rent water shoes, and you walk up the falls. They are not that tall, but there is about a mile of small, climbable water falls.

After the falls we made our way to swim with the dolphins. Now, if you have never done this I would definitely recommend. Its not the cheapest attraction at $59US a person, but well worth it. Our dolphins name was Pepe, interesting being that we were in Jamaica. The dolphins do a wide variety of tricks that included splashing you from head to toe, singing with you, and shaking your hand with its fin. Good fun!

After this, we rented some ATVS and went on a tour up in the mountains. We climbed to the highest point which overlooked the entire city. We were so high up that we could barely see the cruise ship; spectacular views. Cant remember the name of the ATV company, but it was recommended to us by a taxi driver, and I don't imagine there were all that many in this small city.

After all this we were pretty hungry so we made our way to the famous, Hard Rock Cafe. It was the usual, same as all the rest. We enjoyed some of the local beer, nachos, and burgers. Tasty, simple, and not too expensive. We finshed up our dinner and made our way back to the cruise ship after another jam packed day.
