Scandinavian mountains run along most of Norway's length. Called Kjølen (the keel)in Norway, the chain pops up under pseudonyms in Finland and Sweden, various parts of the U.K., and also -rather more surprisingly- Canada and the U.S.: Appalachians. Continental drift. Who knew?
