We're in Noosa today, planning on some walking about and maybe a nearby farmer's market.  We'll take this opportunity for a bit of a Max update.

We've decided that he's an extrovert.  Not sure how this happened, but the signs are clear.  He's constantly smiling at strangers, always crawling over to meet new people.  We'll do our best to ensure he doesn't become a hockey-playing redneck what with growing up in Alberta and all!  Maybe he'll do it just to rebel...

Another new deveopment, he is actually playing with his books now, not just chewing on them.  He'll turn the pages, point to the pictures, pull the fur or whatever in the touch & feel books.  We were quite surprised at how quickly this happened.  One day, book chewer, the next, book 'reader'.  How time flies with little ones!

Must go enjoy the day - supposed to be 35 today and of course humid!

Cheers,

T&D&m

Wow! So many journals to read and digest all at once! And places to find on the map. Are our place names so indigenous? As you creep closer to home, you'd better enjoy the last bits of heat. In Ontario, it is mild but the bottom will drop out by the weekend. Great pictures. Love all the news. You are ALL cute! Love. Mom and DAd W

Glad that you are having a great trip. You will have to show me pics of Bogans and some of the other wild life on the list (I think there were 4 or so I do not know). Anyway, an extrovert can be good. Add some balance to the family. This extrovert says not to worry, extroverts are a lot of fun!

Oh, I loved Noosa!! What a great place! Keep your eye out for celebrities because apparently quite a few have summer homes there. It's also the last surf beach you'll see as you continue north.

So much to digest! I hope you are wnjoying the weather there. Dad has been following the temperature in Alberta and it's been mighty cold. We have had rain for many days but mild weather - freezing rain forcast for today. Max looks absolutely adorable. How fortunate you are to be able to have time together with him, watching him change from day to day. Perhaps he will even say his first words while you are all together. Such a wonderful gift you have given him. Hope you are finding time to rest up. Can't wait to hear how Max responds to Hong Kong. Love, mom dad and Eric
