Pick up

      I drove from Bowling Green, OH to pick up a run in Niles,OH.  

     With a snow storm coming in toward Chicago, I knew I had to get this delivered as soon as possible so I could try to get out of the bad weather.

     There was a lot of wind and rain all along interstate 80, but I didn't run into any snow until I got to the north side of Chicago.    

     I was able to get dropped off around 11pm cst.  There was about 2 inches of snow on the ground and the roads at that time, but I was able to get a little south of Chicago and pulled over at a rest area and spent several hours there hoping the weather would pass. Unfortunately, the rain turned to snow, but it was still only an inch or two the next morning.
