Returning to Ngaoundere to do my ISP. Fadi and Aminou are truly amazing parents and a blessed couple. Aicha is walking now, but when I was there she had yet to crawl. Fadi and I used to trade off so holding her so we coudl each have time to eat. Laminou and Fadi taught me so much about myself and I will forever love them for who they are. Hapsi is getting married and Fadi had a new baby boy! I remember when Hapsi took me to see her grandmother. She gave me a honk of millet that had been on her wall for years to commemorate when they used to harvest the crop.

I continued our mini CDP in CIFAN Nord. By the end of my stay I finally lined up a room with the Chef du village. He was amazingly hospitable. His wives made me spaghetti when I explained that it reminded me of home. You can read my 52 page paper. I made chili and I don't think anyone really like it- too many beans.

Aboubakar my advisor at COLDEN taught me how to conduct interviews, conduct PAR and molded my view of development and village politics. I only hope I can live up to the work that he has been doing.

I met Muhammed at Divino my fav cyber- where he hooked me up with my own computer and a great deal on the price. I wish I had more time to visit him outside Divino. He is still a true friend. Helped me do research for a paper in my rural development class. He is the president of the local SIDA org in his village. See pics.
