After the horrifying experience of US immigration queues, me and another traveller who was off to spend 3 months in the Dominican Republic decided to become tramps for the night.
We found a restauranty area with a 24/7 MacDonalds, pulled ourselves some chairs together and proceeded to become very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend sleeping in Newark airport. It´s a very boring place. Especially at 3 am.
