After shaking the dust of Durham, we piled whatever belongings we hadn't left in Charlotte or at the Fitzpatrick-Canlas household into the Prius and headed for the big city to visit with friends and family.

We met up with Stef, Adam, and Vince and noshed on deli sandwiches. Learned why Barney Greengrass earned the title of Sturgeon King. Stopped in at the MoMA. Drove out to Long Island and kicked it in the suburbs with Nina, Max, and their adorable kids. Made blueberry pie and watched Indian movies (well, started one) with Kathy & Qambar.
