Teaching English in Kathmandu

Okay so thats an tiny little lie...but the will was there. I certainly intended to teach English and had set up to stay with a family in Patan for three weeks, but unfortunately I managed to arrive during the worst and bloodiest pro-democracy demonstration the country had ever seen. Cue two weeks of being scared witless but nonetheless enjoying myself out of the way of trouble, then a frightening re-entry to the capital and a reluctant exit a week early...
