A night in Nelson

They were surprised and a little disappointed by Nelson. Promised an active bohemian town by the guidebook, they found a town of right angles, but with no point of activity - Perhaps it was too little time and too late in the day, but after wandering around the cathedral (accidentally built on Maori sacred ground) and failing to find somewhere for tea decided to retire to the nice little motel they'd found with one of their famous bread and cheese picnics!

Tired from the day they snuggled up in bed and waited for an ealy start to the Abel Tasman National Park
