Nasca is the closest city to the myserious desert drawings etched thousands of years ago by the local people.  Lots of theories ranging from UFO relationships, deity worship, etc.  The folks hoping for the UFO theory to pan out are really grasping at straws though.  There is a pretty thin case for it.  But, hope springs eternal!  Anyway, we had the opportunity to take a flight over the plateau where all these things are located.  Pretty cool.  Lots of failed photos but here are some of the better ones...
