My time at Vanderbilt was fun and seeing Keith graduate was great. More than seeing my "brother" graduate, I really came to see the pomp. I love how people dabble over "traditions" and this whole fanfare. Really, all one needs to do is just get the diploma in the mail but the fact than we invest time, money and energy into such a production is great.

Finally too, I met Keith's parents who were really sweet. I at time did not know what to talk about with his father as we are so separated- lifestyles, up bringing, culture, time... But he always found something to to talk about. His mother was just the sweetest person. The celebrations were fun, the food was good... And that sweetheat Matt Earnest was great too. Ah, I just want to pack him up and send him to Tulane. I see him as an Erin Brush in general demeanor but more willing to just adopt what is surroundings bring to him- to be more open, more free. And he's kinda cute too. And his jeans were amazing.

A few more days, a few more rainstorms to contend with and then I am off. I still worry, however, that I don't have good enough contacts in Bangkok and more so in Phnom Penh. It makes me nervous.
