Hi there.
Welcome to our travel blog for the first leg of what we hope will become a round the world trip. We're heading off for Africa for a trip from Nairobi to Cape Town with Dragoman Tours and if all goes to plan, we'll follow up with travel across Asia, Australia and New Zealand during 2008.
We'll do our best to keep the site updated along the way so that everyone who has said they wished they were doing this can enjoy the trip with us.
Current Plans
30/11/07 - weekend in London with the kids before we leave
03/12/07 - fly out to Nairobi
08/12/07 - join the Dragoman tour through Africa
02/02/08 - arrive Cape Town
14/02/08 - fly home to UK
15/02/08 - arrive home All the best.
Dave and Annette.

Hi folks, its freezing here in Rudyard... The trip is going well I see and you look like intrepid explorers. Remember keep an eye on your personal things on your last day home, (things tend to wander into the local market within minutes of your back turned; 'cos we like the photo's and we would not like to miss out on anything funny. No worries if you keep this in mind as it happened to me! Bhuna23

well, i thought that you might like to know that i have completed my grand trip and made it to the island safely. dad, seriously, what are you playing at? where are all the photographs?! theres all this "ooh it so beautiful here..." "oh look at that wildebeest there.." i want visuals man! ok ok, so it takes ages to do it and its expensive but can't you multi task? for example, unpload photos WHILE writing the blog :0) speaking of photos, there is ONE gift under the tree. (given to me by janice) with a big amazon lable with my name on it. its KILLING me. the temptation to open it is getting a little too strong. i need nic's restraining (bossy) presence. ive forgotten your email address btw, hence the commenting rather than emailing. lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
