Fiji was truely incredible. From boat trips, island tours, tons of snorkeling expeditions in incredible reefs bursting with color and marine life, parasailing, day hikes, self guided village tours, kyacking, lounging poolside and enjoying the views, etc, etc, I could not have asked for a more beautiful trip. Fijians are so very friendly and everyone I meet simply in passing on the street or in the small local villages want to stop and talk or invite you on outings with them. The scenery is unbelievable and is constantly leaving me breathless. Everywhere I turn I see sights that are straight out of the movies. Brilliant turqouise water, lush green foliage (the palm trees and flowers are so abundant and lovely), islands with jagged cliffs dotting the horizon in every direction. I dont even want to blink for fear I wont be able to soak it all in in only 3 days! Other than the painful sunburn (I spent way too much time far out in the reefs swimming in the schools of fish and observing the most brilliant coral and incredible sea creatures I could possibly imagine), this has been a fabulous trip. I hope to come back again sometime in the future for a much longer stay in which I will be able to see many more of the off shore islands and further my explorations of this paradise!
