We only spent one night in Mumbai and although it was the cleanest, most well organized city we have visited yet, it was long enough. Not that I did not enjoy our short stay there, but after a week of being on trains every other day I was definitely ready to be grounded in one place for an extended period of time.
The few interactions I had with the people here were very enjoyable, it was a good introduction to south Indian culture and smiles. I had one guy, selling shoes on the sidewalk, jokingly grab my shoulders and shake me saying that I was so rich money would fall out - We ended up getting a good laugh out of the experience and two fake pair of crocs; Elizabeth and I both got suckered, but we have grown to love our fake crocs.
