Now for Elephants???

As soon as I got off my bus I was approached by some tout, and after I told him that I had already booked accomodation he decided to follow me anyway.

So I booked into my room (which I think was the only room in the place I decided to stay that was not being renovated) and found myself a guide agency in order to book some trekking for the afternoon. Turned out that the agency was the same agency that the tout worked for, and since he had proven to be quite a talentled tracker I allowed myslef to be talked into a three hour trek that afternoon and a three hour jeep night safari.

The trek was interesting! We seemed to wander form place to place (elephant hangout to elephant hangout) spotting monkey's......hmmmmmmm. We heard an elephant once, the guide asked ME to decide which direction the elephant was in and we went that way!Why on earth he thought I was experienced in finding elephants I have no idea!He was a lovely guy though and I had an enjoyable afternoon wandering randomly through the trees!
