After some last minute shopping, I set off for Namibia via scenic Route 62 which winds through the South African wine country. It was spitting rain along the coast, but after I turned inland at George and went over the coastal range, the skies opened up nicely. I drove for about 4 hours and pulled into a small town called Montagu to search for lodging. A restaurant rcommended the BLue Mountain Guest House. It wasn't anything special, but it did the trick.
