I am almost ready for my trip after several runs to Target and REI. My room is a horrid mess but the cats are having fun playing in the disarray. I am leaving Oct 3 and arriving in Guayaquil Ecuador Oct 4th, then catching a short flight to Cuenca, Ecuador. The plan is to learn enough spanish phrases to get me from the airport to my hotel, then to the spanish immersion school where I will be spending the next month. Then the Galapagos Islands and on to Peru.
