"Learnt about the life of a mahout and how to care for the elephants. Here they are working on elephant conservation and you can definitely tell that the elephants are happy and well cared for. We did spend much time sitting around doind nothing, but the camp is over the river from a top quality ecolodge, we rode and washed the elephants in the river and kayaked back to Luang Prabang pn our second day."
