As an Editor at RealTravel, I'm inspired everyday by travelers around the world and am constantly dreaming about where I should go to next. I try and fill up the weekends with short trips, so I don't go into some sort of shock.

My favorite day or weekend trips from San Francisco include:

Calistoga in Wine Country - Wine tasting and Hot springing

Lake Tahoe - snowboarding and cross country skiing

Running in San Francisco - Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, over the Golden Gate Bridge

Running in Palo Alo: Baylands Trail from Shoreline to Stevens Creek

Heading to be Beach: ocean beach, anywhere near Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz etc.

This summer, I'm spending two weeks in Costa Rica!
