i am a nomad who loves to travel the world. i've stayed in farmers houses in the middle of india and been picked up in a rolls royce by the peninsula hotel in hong kong so i know what both experiences are like. One thing i have found out on the way is that the most memorable experiences are not when you travel first class, but when you rough it a bit, eat what the locals eat, live how the locals live and try to integrate yourself into your surroundings. you may look different but if you try as best you can to blend in you will have a very different experience to the country you are in.
