Portrait

I'm a big believer in the value of travel...so I breath, sleep and live it every day. When at home I run a small tourism business, called Swazi Trails (www.swazitrails.co.sz). We offer a wide variety of adventure activities, local accommodation bookings, tours and safaris. We're also the local connection for WHL - a growing world-wide network of local operators all linked to an e-platform for processing bookings (www.swazitravel-link.co .sz). Its a really nice "family" so to speak because we all share a common interest in using this platform to market sustainable tourism, geotourism, responsible tourism..or whatever other word you want to associate with travel that makes you feel good and allows you to do good. I got to meet the rest of this WHL family recently in Cambodia, during the annual conference. Its wacky but fun group of people (www.worldhotel-link.com).

When I'm not at home, I'm generally travelling, exploring and soaking up local experiences like a sponge. Sometimes I travel alone, but other times I'm with my wife Anita (she votes for skiing/snowboarding holidays) and my kids Kei (6yrs) and Paige (4yrs). They're great to travel with because they've even got more energy than me...and ask more questions.

Watch out for us...we're pretty intense travellers.

Africa South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Namibia, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Kenya, Morocco, Uganda

Europe England, Scotland, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Austria, Italy

Australia, Cambodia ....and many more to come.
