Welcome to our travelling blog. As many of you know we have decided to give up being charity-working-do -gooders, and embark on five months of self-indulgence visiting all the places we've always wanted to see.

Our trip begins at 6.50am, Bristol Parkway on 21 April when we will bid our families goodbye and hop on a train to Heathrow - 16 hours later we hope to be in Hanoi, Vietnam (and still talking to each other!)
