I used to think the world was flat. That nothing existed beyond Cow-town. I would scream when I saw a bug, freak out over a hotel that was less than 4 stars, and thought travelling to far off places would cost too much. Little did I know, there's too much to see and so little time and really, travelling is a lot less expensive than you think it is (if you're smart about it).

I live in Chicago now, pursuing my doctorate in Disability Studies at University of Illinois Chicago. But I was born and raised in Calgary, AB, Canada. Before Chicago, I lived in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. Some say my addiction is school, but my REAL addiction is travel!

My friend Aisha told me about this great site, so I will have to work real hard at building my travel blog. I have trips to post from Guatemala (June 2006), Europe (Holland-Berlin-Zurich, March 2006), Jamaica (Feb 2006), and Bolivia & Peru (December 2005) to post!!! Stay tuned...
