My husband and I took a year off and backpacked through 26 countries from 2002-2003 and we are so happy to see that all our blog entries are still preserved on this website after all this time. It is interesting to read some of our past blogs relating to the political climate in 2002. We arrived in Bali just after the bombing and we left S. America just as the US invaded Iraq. We still dream of doing another trip, but we have a new baby and will likely not be doing any long trips for several years.
