I grew up in a tiny little town in California just north of Sacramento. I never expected to travel very far from my home, so when I joined the Air Force at 19 it was a big impact on my life. My first assignment was at Zaragoza, Spain. It didn't take me long to realize that I LOVED to travel! Now, any chance I get I fly off to somewhere interesting and I have tried to instill this love of traveling in my three children as well. We have been to see Chitza Nitza in Cancun, all over the Caribbean and US, but for this trip it is just me and my 12 year old daughter, Kelsey.
