I love to learn and try new things, and to write about my adventures. Traveling is a great opportunity to meet new people and learn about their culture and way of life while seeing some wikked kewl stuff. Travelers often find their assumptions are thrown out the window, which can be great to free us from our self-imposed boundaries.

I like to participate in SCI international volunteer projects while I travel. These "workcamps" are a great opportunity to get to know the local people & culture as well as the volunteers from other countries. The hosts provide food and shelter while we work for a good cause on a project for 2-3 weeks at a time. There are all kinds of different projects, from archaeological digs and castle renovation to music festivals and working with children or disabled people. Besides travel and adventure, my passions include nature, reading, writing, staying active, philosophy, spirituality, sociology, meeting people from all over the world, exploring different cultures, holistic health, all kinds of music, art (esp. photography, drawing, oil painting), singing, human potential, and social improvement. In short, I love to try new things and have adventures and write about them. I'm off for more fun and adventure! Carpe mirium - seize the wonder!
