Well made it to Melbourne the town really busy because of the tennis.Weather really hot and sticky raining today.Spent the first day just wandering around town went to the art gallery because it was raining. Then cooked my first meal in months beans on toast !.
Today went on a wine tour of the Yarra Valley good move with the rain visited 4 vineyards and were shown how to test wine !!! but alas no one was spiting it out.Had a nice lunch and ended up at Green point part of the Moet 2 Chardon group,but they call it sparking wine in Aus.
Forecast damp for next few days !!! off on a tour of Tasmania next Wednesday be good to get some exercise doing a bit of walking.
Well still in Melbourne still wet and sticky !!! Visited St Kilda i liked it there beach a pier and a craft market . Went to CapTain Cook cottages removed from the uk in 1930's. try to see the botanical gardens if its dry for long enough !
