(Nicks Story).  Today I had the absolute privelage of working with RTP at the biggest rubbish dump in Maputo.  There is a huge community that has grown "around and in'' the dump and kids don't go to school, they have to wander the dump finding things that can be used or sold.  But they do turn up to play football.  All you need to bring is a ball and they will play.  The field is just some sand...like beach football and the kids have fantastic technical ability.  At the end I did some shooting with them and without being able to communicate in Portuguese, I had some fun.  The session stopped because with temperatures over 40C, the  sand was too hot for their feet......shoes? who can afford shoes?  A fantastic day and I'm hoping to be back tomorrow and Thursday and then do some work with RTP on a longer term basis.

Great photos Nick. Must be the most unusual coaching session you have ever had - bar none.
