Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park

A lovely alpine flower on Bald Butte

We were the only onesin this lovely park.  We saw lovely alpine flowers, went to see the T-rex Discovery Centre in Eastend where in 1991 a local teacher discovered some fossils and in July 2003 the Discovery Centre was opened.  Near this area a little we visited a ghost town called Robsart and I loved taking pictures of the abandoned houses.  One of the gals that worked in the Discovery Center said that her family of 4 were part of the 8 people that lived there.  We enjoyed our stay inithis park even though it was dark with so many trees which was unusual in the prairies.
