Nice day- we eventually got a clear bright sunny morning after all the rain and looking back a view of the mountains. Started walking through rhodedendron forest then we started to descend steeply through dense forest, the trail was deeply rutted by heavy rain and difficult to negociate. Stopped for lunch in Kutomsong where we also delivered the note for the young girl in Thulo Syabru whose parents ran a lodge in Kutomsong. It made us realise how difficult communicastions are up here, young girl, probab;y 18 sent off to be married to someone she'd probably never met and 4 days walk from her parents home.
The lodge at Thodhong was also the monastery but when we arrived there were no rooms left so they offered to make up a bed actually in the monastery which was lovely.
