Hai Friends,
Here Iam going share my experience about madurai.Normally madurai is famous for its Temple.So, among people it was named as "TEMPLE CITY" and the other one is "THOONGA NAGARAM". You have to spend atleast half of your day for visiting the temple in madurai.Inside the Temple there is a Amman sannathi and Shivan sannathi.Along with it includes "THOUSAND PILLARS MANDAPAM".In the entrance of meenakshi temple they are having many no of parrots.
The next spot is "THIRUMALAI NAICKER MAHAL".This palace is a most attractable.Daily evening they are conducting the light show.This will be more interesting to both adults and children.
Next spot is "GANDHIJI MUSEUM" and it was located nearer to GORIPALAYAM BUS STAND.This museum consist of various photos taken during before independence of INDIA.It also contains item (spectacle,clothes,stick ,shawl)used by Gandhiji.
For entertaining children madurai consist of many parks.Famous parks located in madurai are,
- Rajaji park(located near Thamukam)
- Echo park(located near Thalakulam)
