hostels and a hotel

i only had a total of 3 nights in madrid and everything is either decent walking distance or easily accessible by metro.  if u have the time just walk everywhere it's really not that bad and it's easy to learn the streets.  everywhere seems safe, well lite and populated.  the park is gorgeous but i forgot to see the crystal palace or something.  i had no guide book but the airport had some decent maps for me.
