Okay, I'll admit it: I don't like buffets. I never would have agreed to this choice of restaurants except that I thought we'd get a glimpse of the Sanctuary Lodge (a hotel we had considered instead of the Pueblo) and - frankly - it's this restaurant or the snack bar.

That said - this was the biggest and most bustling buffet I'd ever seen in my life! The ambiance was somewhere between your junior high cafeteria and Folsom Prison, with people standing over your shoulder to make sure they get your chair the second - the very second - that last forkful reaches your lips.

Okay - the place tried: they had the buffet & payment lines well organized, they had efficient 'bus-boys,' the food was terrifically varied and as tasty as hot-table items can be; they even had live music!

But, to me, this meal was not the relaxing and enjoyable experience I'd come to expect with our InkaTerra tour.

Was the Sactuary Lodge any better than the InkaTerra Pueblo Hotel? Not if this restaurant is any indication!
