This is at the Ancient City. The original of this structure, a ceremonial palace for the King, was destroyed in the Burmese rebellion in the 1760's. This new one was built according to historical records; in the 1970's, the Thai King hosted the Queen of England in this building, which marked the opening of the Ancient City.
