The Tower of London is probably the most popular attraction in London.  There were many groups of schoolchildren visiting, even on a Tuesday, many speaking French.  Lots of other people too, rather crowded.

The crown jewels are located in the Jewel House.  They have a couple of movies as you wait in line, not a long line, very quick, but a lot of people stopped to see the movies.  One was the current queen's coronation and another about the jewels, very nice.  The jewels and the gold tableware were both lovely, such huge gems.  Also gem-encrusted swords, rings, etc.  The "star of Africa" and the Kohinoor.

There is also the White Tower with artillery displays, boys will love this.  Guns, armour, cannons, etc.  Plus medieval castle.
