We arrived in London at 0740am, we caught the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station and then a cab to the hotel. Of course, it was too early to check in so we put our bags in the storage room and went into breakfast. We then walked over Tower Bridge and then caught a cab to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard. It was really hot and straight after we caught a cab back the hotel and checked in, showered and had a three hour nap. When we woke up we walked up the road and had dinner at the Pommelers Arms Pub. We tried scampi (like shrimp in breadcrumbs) – it was yum. Lexie liked it as well. Mum told us that Uncle Keiran lived on scampi when he was a kid – I plan to do the same this holiday! Back to the hotel now because we’re all knackered. More soon……..
