*Today was another busy touristy day. It was absolutely freezing- our winters are by far warmer! We started with brekky… yepp… you guessed it- jam on toast and cornflakes again! We headed firstly to the British museum where we saw so many ancient artifacts. We loved the Egyptian mummies and Roman stuff (they even had Cleopatra’s real body mummified as well as the bog man)…unreal! Once again Kev’s tummy called for an early exit. We ate some yummy sangers by the river Thames overlooking Big Ben and the London Eye. We caught a bus back to Trafalgar Square and then went to the National Gallery. I was very much inspired by the Monet’s, Van Gogh’s etc. Kev’s legs, this time, nearly caused an early exit- but no way!!! We nearly didn’t even make it into the gallery as we were bombarded by pigeons at the front door- quite funny! Would’ve been much funnier if they’d left a ‘present’ on Kev’s head!!!! We` then raced home to drop our backpack off and head in again to do what we thought was a free ghost tour. Little did we know that we should’ve paid for the walk tour we did the other day around Buckingham Palace… haha woops!! A cheap dinner and then a trip into Hanley’s toy shop- AMAZING! 5 floors of just toys of any sort- even for the big kids. We loved it! I reckon Kev picked up and played with near everything in the shop. Home again for another good sleep
