Day Six

We left the hotel after a brief good-by to the owners. He was a comical outspoken guy and his wife reminded me of Betty Davis. We stopped for breakfast before leaving town. Riding the interstate is not something I like to do, but I realize that in order to make time, that is the only way to travel. It's dark and looks like rain today. We made it quite a while before needing to "suit up". After arriving at the hotel, we rode down to Applebee's for dinner. After dinner we jumped into the hot tub to warm up from the freezing we had at dinner. 300 miles today.
