From Loch Ness to Fort Augustus to Fort Williams the beauty of Scotland demonstrates itself.  There is always a point in your travels where you say to yourself, "Do I really want to leave?" This is where the outdoors and nature of Scotland are on full display. 

We decided to skip the tourist boats on Loch Ness.  Mostly due to chilly weather and colds. We drove highway A82 along the wester side of the Loch, and stop at several car parks and observation points.  The scenery, spectacular!
