Im in Prison!!

Yes Im not lying in that title, we really are in prison..ok so its an ex-prison converted into  a hostel! So we arrived in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenija(as they spell it here) and found our prison hostel. Yes we have our own cell how cool is that, well its not actually its like a sauna! Ljubljana is one of the most beautiful cities I have been in. It is very small, a river runs through the old town, there are about a million outdoor cafes and the building are fabulous. We just wandered around the first night since we got there so late but did manage to find the greatest dessert on the planet! Caffe Colossi served us these fresh fruit, ice cream, whip cream, chocolate sauce dessert things in a huge ice cream dishes...yeah we went back three times, the staff new us well! After a very hot, uncomfortable night in our jail cell we walked around the city and up to the castle...there is alot of uphill here so far on this trip! After more dessert we went back to our hostel which has an ex-military barracks behind it and is now the home to tons of squatters, basically its a bunch of young people who occupy these buildings but pay nothing...kind of like what I do to my parents, haha! Anyways in squatterville, called Metalkova, they have a bunch of clubs and bars and its very underground and untouristy, very cool fun place! In short for everyone who tuned into my adventures last year you know how very much I love love love Bulgaria, well Slovenija has quickly crept up into second place for best places to go in Eastern Europe!!!
