Cheap digs in a good location. A bit loud and run down but Erwin, the owner, is very helpful.

And always order the rotisserie chicken, fries and Inka Cola to ensure the natural order of Peruvian life continues. Kidding, great country and Erwin was the best.

Erwin Escobar was extremely helpful at setting up a quick trip to the rain forest for me that was half the price of the American agency. Perhaps a bit rougher (My guide and I had to mix our Spanish and English) but great. The Pension Yolanda is a bit scruffy, mattresses sag, the water pressure low, but the location fantastic - right next to the Ovalo in Miraflores, a drugstore, and the Indian mercado for shopping. I would stay there again for the very cheap price. Oh, and remember - NEVER FLUSH TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILET ANYWHERE IN PERU. YOU WILL DESTROY THE NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE.
